Providing
quality control in the receiving, sorting,
boxing, and moving of food and non-edible
donations coming to the SAFB. Special
projects, clerical or administrative work
and other tasks as needed. |

When: |

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- Two (3) hours sessions from 9 a.m.
- 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Saturday - Schedule varies
Wednesday & Sunday - No
volunteers on these days UNLESS it
is a special event.

Individuals
- Requires appointment and pre-screening
via phone or e-mail from the Volunteer
Coordinator before placement takes place.

Please Note: |

Dress Code:
For safety, absolutely no sandals or
flip-flops. Please wear closed-toed
shoes and appropriate attire.
Food & beverages: Not allowed in
warehouse.
Age limits: The minimum age limit for
any unsuprevised volunteer at the San
Antonio Food Bank is 15 years of age.
Due to safety concerns, children 8 - 14 may
volunteer with adult supervision. |

Assist our Nutrition Education staff with a
variety of tasks, including class
preparation, class assistance, and clerical

2-4 hours per week, flexible. Opportunities
available to assist at Saturday health fairs
around the community. We will work
with your schedule. |
