Hunger Facts
An estimated 49 million Americans are food insecure. Of those 49 million, almost 17 million are children and 5 million are seniors. Last year, over 37 million people used a Food Bank for emergency food assistance.

The San Antonio Food Bank partners with more than 350 human service agencies to help feed hungry people throughout sixteen counties in Southwest Texas. One of the many ways that we directly distribute is through Food Bank Food Fairs in which we provide a mass distribution of food and outreach materials to qualified families.
