Food4SA
through the month of November
In November, we're raising 1 million pounds of food for the needy. Food4SA benefits the San Antonio Food Bank and is sponsored by Security Service FCU, News 4, Magic 105.3, Express-News and H-E-B.

saturday, November 7 - 8am-5pm
A collection drive for several area charities including the SA Food Bank, SAMMinistries, The Battered Women's Shelter and Any Baby Can. The South Texas Blood & Tissue Center will also conduct a blood drive.

Holiday Turkey Round Up
Saturday, November 21, 7am-7pm
Security Service FCU is teaming up with the San Antonio Food Bank to give the community an opportunity to donate frozen turkeys and help provide a Happy Thanksgiving to families in need. SSFCU volunteers will be out at four locations ready to take donations.
Just look for the refrigerated Food Bank truck, drop off a turkey and help provide a Thanksgiving meal for a needy family in the San Antonio Food Bank’s 16 county service area. The first 100 people to donate at each location will receive a coupon for a free dozen doughnuts courtesy of Krispy Kreme.
Harvest of Hope
sunday, November 22 - 11am-2pm
The Harvest of Hope Brunch and Silent Auction is the San Antonio Food Bank’s Premier Fundraising Event. Harvest of Hope is a tasting event; Guests are invited to sample signature while bidding on San Antonio’s most sought-after items in the Silent Auction.

The Great Turkey Challenge

The Great Turkey Challenge presented by H-E-B is a 5k Run/Walk Fundraising Event to support the San Antonio Food Bank’s efforts to place turkeys on the tables of needy families in our area. For every $10.00 donated, the San Antonio Food Bank can provide one turkey to a family in need this holiday season!
