Description

A National Food Drive by the National Association of Letter Carrier’s and the United States Postal Service will team up to collect food donations in order to provide assistance to the rapidly increasing number of Americans who are struggling with hunger. Local letter carrier will be delivering bags to local residents and asking the community to fill the bag and leave it by their mailbox. Letter carriers will be picking up the food on Saturday, May 8th. Thank your local letter carrier by making a hand-made sign on behalf of your family or neighborhood!

 The San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB) is a non-profit organization that serves as a clearinghouse by receiving and storing truckloads of donated food, produce, and other grocery products. SAFB distributes these items in manageable quantities to approximately 440 service agencies that help people in need.
